FootBasket.com – RealGM got their hands on the new secondary logos for the Philadelphia 76ers and Golden State Warriors. But it’s the Warriors one that seems to pique the most interest.

The new logo adds black to it, which makes fans wonder if there could be uniforms in store for the franchise. In addition, another secondary logo shows “SF,” for the team, which indicates the team’s move to San Francisco.

RealGM reports that NBA fans shouldn’t be surprised if the Warriors soon end up becoming the San Francisco Warriors instead of Golden State. Keep in mind that these could be prototype logos, so nothing is official as of yet.

Kind of a hardo move on San Francisco’s part to have them change the official name of the team to SF Warriors as opposed to what it is now, like getting the stadium wasn’t enough they had to brand it. Other than that, the Bridge logo is one of the most fresh designs in the league so I’d be pissed if they ever got rid of that. Just change the upper portion to reflect the move and be done with it.

The W secondary logo on the hand is awful, might as well be a JuCo football team’s. I can kind of get behind the SF on the ball but I think it’s still pretty forced. Hoping they go back to the drawing board on this one. The team’s logo has already gone through enough changed over the past 25 years, let’s just stick with one for a while.
