SFWeekly – Maybe it’s the child in us, but some pranks just never get old — and this is one of them. Unless the San Francisco sign hacker starts nagging us about paying bills and stuff, we don’t predict we’ll get bored of this game any time soon. CBS News reports that the sign hacker has struck again — this time in the Upper Haight, and this time with a less ominous message that wants drivers about a Godzilla attack. The new message reads “Hi, It’s Me, The Sign. Don’t Trip. Be Nice People. A few weeks ago when it was unusually hot in San Francisco, hackers broke into a sign on Van Ness that warned drivers that the city was closed because it’s “too damn hot.”

Well at least someone is having fun.

Combine passive aggressiveness with new age tech nerdom and you have probably my #1 with a bullet most hated person in the Bay Area right now. Who has this much fucking time on their hands to start fucking with road signs, which by the way are important up in San Francisco where you have a multitude of tourists and bad drivers, that are legitimately needed for whatever purpose they are serving. I mean a speeding sign that maybe blinks 69 LOL instead of your actual speed, then you’d have me laughing and give daps to whoever did it but when you’re fucking with road work that’s where I draw the line.

Inevitably, some construction foreman is reaming out some poor blue collar sap for this getting fucked with all the while whoever is doing this is typing LOL to all his friends on Reddit while sipping his fair trade coffee like the scrawny douchebag that he is. Cannot wait till there’s multiple fender benders and the insurance companies find out who this guy is and make him pay for the damages to both vehicles. Hell, if I’m in need of a new car, I’d be driving my shit box car right into some sort of road impeedment near where this sign is and then claiming ignorance. Boom, new car city.

Be nice? How about go outside hacker scum.

P.S. It’s Too Damn Hot? Really riffing off of a meme from two years ago in a place that is nowhere close to being hot? Grow up.
